My Mysore.

Wake up at 5 am. Eat english muffin and orange juice. Walk around the apartment in the dark, using my hands to guide me. Sage on walk at 5:30. Out the door by 6. Train at 6:05. Off train at 6:15. Walk up Chestnut to Yoga Squared. In studio by 6:30. Play with baby in studio. Get ready, practice begins.

4 women. 1 teacher. Chant. 2 dudes wander in.

My mysore practice started today. I love this studio, the teacher, the practice.

This is what yoga is. It is an individual practice. You move at your own speed. You have a teacher who cares about you and cares that you are doing your practice correctly. You have a teacher who makes you repeat something twice or three times in order to memorize the series. You have a teacher that does a little body work on you at the end of your practice. This is yoga.. This is yoga.  This is my yoga and I love it.

I am. I am. I am. I am. I am...
